So what ya're saying is I could buy each and every single component of a computer for less than I bought in store, considering I'd buy those components in a store as well? On that note, could ya give me a list of what parts one needs anyway? Like, motherboard, graphics card et cetera.
Use newegg to order your computer parts. As to what you should get, googling for various gaming setups is usually a better option.

Gonna hijack this thread for a sec - is it true that buying a complete computer is usually cheaper than building one from scratch? Of course the bought one likely won't be to my specific desires, but I doubt I can get all the different parts for less than a pre-built one.
Thats more fake than divers in football. Building your own pc is cheaper and gets you better parts.

How can you acknowledge yourself as a member of our master race if you don't even know the answer to this simple question.
It's no, by the way.
Whose computer does it belong to or who used to own it?
Just from the DxDiag screenshot alone I can tell it has been upgraded before. I can also tell you that this computer with your monitor can still max out a bunch of older game engines being used on modern games including Starcraft II, Diablo III, CS:GO, Titanfall, League of Legends, and DOTA 2. Without knowing what games you intend to play, then there's no target performance and it's anyone's guess what upgrade path is sensible or if an upgrade is sensible at all.
You could get a few Titan Z's so you can start running games at 4K on two screens.
There are plenty of tutorials online on how to upgrade PC components. The biggest thing I'm not sure about is if your CPU could bottleneck your GPU if you upgrade it.
