Do you think its worth it?

Say you have this girl/boy who was once your significant other, and now you're just friends, you both still like eachother but you think he/she'd be happier to just berid of you.

So you decide to do something drastic to make sure he/she'll move on and forget about you, ultimately being happier, and all you want is their happiness, also you want to do this so they won't be sad about your previous break up with them.

Say you decide to go overboard with this and take it waaaay too far, you make him/her despise you. You realize you took it too far but at this point apologizing would just make him/her hate you even more so than he/she does now, but now you know he/she'll forget about you and move on with their life being happy, but you still love them, knowing that they hate you, and nothing you can do will reverse what has been done.

Will you be happy knowing they're happy?
Do you think that it was worth it just to make them happier?
Do you think what you did was right?
Do you think being angry at someone is better than being heartbroken over them?

If you did something to hurt them and make them hate you then you probably didn't love them much at all. This is real life. Not New Moon. (Ditching someone dramatically so they forget about you like Edward Cullen attempted with Bella doesn't usually fix things. It hurts like hell and drives people further apart!) Honestly a person who does the things you are describing would probably be diagnosed with a personality disorder. Learn to have healthy relationships. Grow up a bit. Stop obsessing over someone and suffocating them one minute then pushing them away the next... It really depends on the people involved but from the sound of things you're much better off leaving it as it is and working on yourself. I remember you from another thread... I truly suggest trying to build your self confidence, getting out more, and experiencing life. Figure out who you are and accept it - before you get into a relationship.
