Something to make you think
In an event a long time ago (2007 or so), there was an event where you meet your parents, in the version of an npc "Mom & Dad", at the top of Henesys Hunting Ground.
Since every single mapler had the same parents, we are all related.
If we want to make this interesting, Arans and Evans (Evans have their own parents in their story line, which could possibly be the same parents) turn to the dark mage after being converted by one of your parents. They trained the aran race to defeat the world.
While they were training, your Dad realized that your mom was affiliated with the dark mage. He knew he would have to stop her, so he recruited the greatest warriors ever: Grendel, Dances with Balrog, Athena Pierce, Dark Lord, and whoever that Pirate Lady is, to train the rest of his children. So your father is pitting you against his other evil children, in an attempt to save the world.
P.S. Nexon promotes incest via marriages.
Oh, also, domestic abuse

Oh, didn't read that whole thread, didn't feel like going through 6 pages. But it was an inspiration, as it made me think of this.
