I mean, Terraria's had the Halloween and Christmas patches, along with content updates along the way.

Unless you're implying nothing happened between 1.2 and 1.3, which would be completely wrong.

Meanwhile, starbound sits in beta and receives updates on a buggy "unstable" client, while the devs reject criticism from its playerbase.

Just as bad as Bio-ware.

Yeah, don't do this ever.

Terraria has tons more content and isn't a piece of crap that will never get finished.

Biggest letdown 2013.

http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Hardmode

If you're starting with a fresh character it can be really challenging. New monsters will spawn that hit way harder and your weapons won't do that much to them. Crimson/Corruption/Hallow will spread like mad and so you'll have to spend some time to contain it when you first start out. You also gain access to way better gear, more interesting bosses and what not.

Edit: Nvm, i was confusing expert mode with hard mode ... tis late

Well from what I noticed, you come across items and gear a lot more. The good items and gear that it. I also didn't really notice the monsters difficulty increase. I found expert mode the way to go!
@SirKibbleX2 Do you have any tips on how to get ahead in the game? I just started making things out of iron and everything just feels slower compared to the console version.
I found it to be REALLY slow when I started in softcore/easy mode. I ended up starting over in softcore/expert mode and I have been coming across a lot of stuff that keeps me coming back for more.

I reinstalled it after the 1.3 update came out. It's pretty boring alone tbh. It is a fun game though. I 100% it on the PS3 version.

The animations and light effects are amazing. I catch myself playing this game for hours as well. I still have yet to try multiplayer. Does the game just throw me into a server with other players or do I have to have certain players I want to connect to?
