Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. In this song it felt like it blurred the emotion a lot more, IDK, I only listened once.

Makes me wonder if he's going for something completely different again though.

@Boomdingy: Kanye was the one who really opened me up to the sound of autotune. I was revisiting 808 and it was a fantastic piece of melodic beauty that he really tried to use his voice as digital instrument. Like for some reason it's really deceptive in meaning: "I care, but now I don't" sort of emotions kind of bleeding out and that even vibrato makes the sound as smooth and polished it can be.

I agree that he's talented enough to not use autotune but I think it's a recurring motif throughout his work and its not something to be discouraged. Listen to 808s & Heartbreak

I can agree with them on that. I'm not a big Yeezus fan but I know for a fact that Kanye is talented enough to have not needed auto tune. Overall, good song though. Hoping for a version without auto tune.
