Physics help please

Absolutely no idea how to do this so any help would be appreciated

Two objects with masses 5.40kg and 1.40kg hang 0.700m above the floor from the ends of a cord 5.20m long passing over a frictionless pulley. Both objects start from rest. Find the maximum height reached by the 1.40kg object.
Ooh, l thought it only wanted the height after both forces became balanced. If that's the case you'd have to calculate for vertical acceleration as well and after that find the time it takes for the acceleration to decrease to 0 due to gravity.
hell yeah! got it finally, I just mixed up the signs so it didn't work before Dx

1.8meters!

lf they're both 0.7 from the ground, one end can only fall 0.7m which there's enough cable to compensate for. One side goes up, other goes down by an equal amount.
sounds really logical, but its not the right answer @.@ I think the weight of the objects needed to be accounted for Dx

I saw this hint at our website: The smaller mass still has an upwards velocity at the time the larger mass hits the ground.

still stuck on this question
