Cant start up Maplestory

Re-downloaded maplestory and can actually open up the game, but it just closes like after 10seconds when I reach the Log-in screen. Has anyone else had this problem before? I use gamelauncher and also tried making that shortcut with GameLaunching at the end and it happens. Whenever I log in through the main site (Used Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox), it tells me to re-download the whole game ==''

I think I'm almost quitting with this issue by now ==''

Did you already try setting it to "Wumbo?"

You'll have to forgive my sense of humor. Try logging them a ticket. That's what I'm doing. It's been about two weeks and I'm still waiting, though.
Yes, I run it as admin. And when I tried that compatibility thing (Set to Windows XP Service pack 2), it gave me a blue screen when I tried launching it.

And I'm running maple on Vista if that helps..
Try logging in via the site.

PS: Reboot your modem to get a new IP, might help (it has for me once)
You did that for both GameLauncher.exe AND MapleStory.exe?

Have you checked your firewall, and AV permissions? You can also try disabling UAC in the Control Panel, but it will leave you more susceptible to viruses (highly unlikely though, most bypass UAC by attaching to normal UAC calls you'd normally allow anyway...).
Yes I have done all of those. Ok here's the scenario:
-I log in on game and either one of these two happens:
(1) I disconnect BEFORE I get past the Log in page, or
(2) I CAN ACTUALLY get on the game BUT give it a minute or less and poof disconnect.

Problem is definitely not on firewall, internet connection, and I'm quite sure any anti virus program I have doesn't block maplestory, as it was working before the Gamelauncher issue was up, and I haven't done anything else on my computer apart from browsing the internet. I really appreciate your help but any other suggestions perhaps?

I am sorry but I cannot help you with this problem, I lack of intelligence with computers.
I hope you can forgive me for lacking intelligence to answer your complex question.
