Appreciate things in life

You never realize what you have until it's gone...

Cherish your time with friends and family. Make up for what was wrong with your enemies. Tell that person you love him/her. If someone you know is feeling troubled, help them, and let them know you'll be there for them whenever they need you. Because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

... The truth is, you don't realize what you have because you never thought of losing them.

I don't care if this topic get no replies, I just wanted to get this out to you.

Mmkay, that's all.
Have a nice night Basilmarket.
I've always known this, but a dear friend of mine passed away a couple of days ago... So suddenly, no one would have ever expected him to do what he did I've had two family members pass away the past two years (both are due to cancer, so we were all prepared for when they pass away), but my friend's death has struck me so hard because he was just too young to go, with not much of a warning
Sorry to hear that
Hope you feel better. I'm sure they all led great lives, and was happy to have known you.
All you can do is to stay happy.
I'm sure they wouldn't want to see you sad (whenever they may be).

@chewy222: Really hard yeh. Plus not everyone makes it on their own. It's also hard because so many people don't understand what it's like /:

Would it b bad to assume that half the people here are not actually serious about what they posted?

but you can get out of quicksand alone
it's just really hard ...

@above, is there actually a syndrome like that that exists?
if so, i dont really care if i had it either.

@chewy222: We could have the "does not give a (censored)" syndrome.
I just know that whatever is wrong with me, i just plain do not care.

I do appreciate life, especially the people around me. Sometimes I feel like I appreciate them too much though.
I'm constantly trying to make the people in my life happy. My friends, my siblings, my mom and dad, my classmates, even my teachers.
It's not a big issue, as I have a great life and love every second of it, but sometimes I wish I had no obligations to fulfill. No people to please. No expectations to live up to. I just want to spend my days doing absolutely nothing.

This is so true. I actually just apologized with a few people I argued with a lot. I'm kinda hoping to change my life around this summer and get past my depression and problems to.
