@Snooki: dead. I guess I misread your comment~ and it wasn't necessarily necessary, I just wanted to correct myself as I had assumed you were a male prior to looking at your ign / avatar. I put an asterisk there to note an edit, and I didn't just change 'he' to 'her' just because I actually don't know if you're a female or a male, so I just left it as is. In essence, it was a quick impulsive response on my part. In no way was I trying to flame o_o... don't over-analyze, it's just basil.

if you're applying for jobs, you should probably be answering any calls, even if they're unknown.

I heard online that calling them back like that is annoying and you won't get the person who interviewed you or anything like that.

You have the phone number right? Google it. I thought I had important calls before but turns out it was just telephone bots. I'm really tired of hearing "the captain" of some luxury cruise calling me. So glad I got a smart phone this year that can block numbers.

If I meant that the call was to check up on the application I would have said it directly, not indirectly. I told her to just call to see if the position she applied for was still available, and if so say, "I submitted my resume a week ago, and I think I got a call from you guys." Checking up on your application would be something along the lines of calling in, and asking if you have looked over my resume, which I did not say.
