@nindow: usually i charge after firing a shot so i can sorta hunt for opponents
and i ended up deranking lf> my A- rank back pls nintendo

its a good idea to move when its required to provide support to your teammates. i've seen teammates charge the gun in one direction and then quickly move it to the a person to shoot at. they do that to prevent the opponents from seeing the laser beam. some just charge it to scare people with the laser beam. the eliter is easily one of the best weapons of splatoon. good luck in ranked mode!

@falsemirror: have you tried stacking damage up? by having up to 3, it's possible to kill people with a half-charged shot if the person was already damaged. this would also help your burst bombs, by making them a 2-bomb kill, perfect for close quarter combat as well as to spam throw at people. and when you panic shoot, the shots can kill instead of just doing piss damage. maybe you should spend more time at the back of the group or in some strategic spot to prevent or reduce the amount of instances of blocked shots.

lol, one time i superjumped to someone and i fell off the edge.
the worst part about the people who jump in front of my shots, is the fact that i only ever use e-litres. i usually snipe with fully-charged shots ;A;

anyways, that's why i do quick shots with the charger. i just aim and shoot at a direction. sure, i dont get a lot of kills compared to other chargers, but im able to harass opponents as well as cover turf for my teammates to use. with stacked special savers, im able to spam splat bomb rush in splat zones and killer wail in tower control. rain maker is too chaotic for my charger skill though.
