To play Tera or not

Is Tera fun to play/populated? If not, what 3D MMO would you recommend?

I've started to play in Highlands in the NA region. Its a PvE server. If i enjoy the game enough, i'll give a PvP server a go too :>

I dont like how they have so many Warrior class variations in the game

@DankMemes: I'll go and first check if I can run the game smoothly and then we'll discuss how we're going to handle things with the thread c:

PvP servers are so annoying when high levels decide to kill you out in the open for no apparent reason. As you get higher level though, if you enjoy a challenge of never feeling safe and trying to not die from others randomly approaching to kill you, then yea, go with that. PvE servers are more chill ofc. PK Everywhereeee in PvP
@FreeIcecream: xD i just finished downloading, which type of server is better? roleplay or pvp?
I'm not really all too common with the game so I'm afraid I can't tell.
Maybe we could organise something with everyone on basil who's interested in playing together

@shadowman621: I'd have to download the NA version first then.
Just after I was done patching the EU one xD

There are different regional versions so I'm assuming it is.

EDIT: Ah, I just googled a bit and it seems Europe isn't blocked by En Masse(NA region).

Just to all the new players who are trying out Tera, please tell them it's your first time doing dungeons/raids before going into them. So they can teach you how to do the dungeons. I've seen a lot of issues with veterans and new players lately because of this. Also, the real game starts at 65, 1~65 is just 1% of the actual game.

I quite enjoyed it when I played it.
I must say it's a lot more fun if you play it with friends though.

Tried it. It's a cool F2P MMORPG and is definitely one of, if not the best in the free two play genre depending on your taste. Questing in that game sucked harddddd though. Not a single interesting piece of dialogue in 40 levels, and that's going to be most of your levels lol.
The dungeons, from my experiences, were total chaos with a lot of people running around doing their own thing until they hit a difficult area or boss. I'm a FFXIV player so compared to that, the dungeons are an utter mess and most people didn't even wanna say "hi" or have any sort of casual chit chat during them so I found them to be extremely painful.

I like the play style of it, but it gets rather boring quest grinding. Although you can just spam dungeons (haven't done so myself). I recommend a friend to play with. It makes things go much more better than solo play. Overall, I think it's pretty fun.

You could try Sky Forge if Tera doesn't suit you, although Sky Forge reminds me of Tera. It's on open beta as of now.
