Red Leah High 1hko?
Call me crazy, but I went on 3 runs so far and I've been fine. Today I was 1hko'd in red leaf high. Respawned in map and continued. Was 1hko'd again at a later stage. Wtf is going on? For the record I did have magic guard on, so it's not like I was forgetting a buff..

get more % hp
There are several NPCs that can 1hko you if you attack them at melee range.
Mihile has 4-point Assault(4 hits per second), Dual Blade has Phantom Blow(multiple hits per second), Oz has Flame Gear(multiple hits per second), Kaiser has Gigas Wave(11 hits per second).
It's very bad if you get any of them at Stage 19 where their damage is about 10x higher.
And then there are Kanna and Hayato mid-boss whose damage seem to be double than the previous stage npc.
Unless you're a Paladin, Demon Avenger, or have a very high HP, it's hard to survive their attacks when you're level 150+ since their damage are proportional to your own level.

Afaik, none of the npcs have DR only damage cancel. And only 2 npcs have damage cancel, Mihile and Demon Slayer.
I got 1hko'ed in the dualblade stage too
LOL. They deal quite a bit damage, but far from 1hko me. (1/4 of max hp w/o magic guard)
I one hit KO them though.
maybe the bosses have damage reflect?
You gotta maintain your distance if you can.
That happened to me too by the dual blade stage. I think it was just rapid damage?
