Griefers in Ludibrium Party Quest

Had to remake this damn thread...Thanks basil...

Anywho, I am thrilled to death to be done with ludi pq. Ive been working on my hermit and i have been griefed for too long now. Mainly in the puzzle box stage

Used to be 133 221 333 123 111

But now its random and requires team work to get through. Well, the idiots i recruit are usually trollers, i really dont know what else they could be. I tell my team to either put down markers (10 mesos or any kind of item) or shout out failed attempts to the party. On average i can get people to cooperate with my requests, but of course trolls like to level too and one cant figure out someones habits behind pixels except through experience. And i dont know if the people ive partied with are broke or just griefing me, but they will pick up my markers. I dont drop those for my health or cause ive got too much money in my pockets.

My most hated griefing is when they will sit on a box waiting for someone else to make an attempt to see if it works or not, too scared of being sent back to start. I now just keep a rule of "be for the party or be gone from the party"

I get a sense of satisfaction of kicking people from a party since i dont have to deal with them anymore.

Anyone got any griefing stories they'd like to share?

@ShyShadow - I know that there is a glow. I dont have a problem when i have the right answer. I want people to not pick up markers so people know what has been tried.

@Cawickeng - The soldier man that if you click on him, he will send you out of the pq. But only talk to him when youre doing the math puzzle boxes, not the jq.

There is a glow on the box indicating which 1 is right

griefing is something that happens in any game, most people recognize it from minecraft.

OT: I get sick of people doing that too, the part where they wait for you to fail. Being in Galicia, there aren't many other people to party with, if you kick one. Quite a setback, if you ask me.

Yep, hate it when i have to do all the work even if there's like 3 or 4 people in my party >.<
seriously, they rely too much on others to do the work for them
@above - you get the platform puppets from the little soldier man
where is he? the baloon guy or the guy who sends you into the pq?
Oh my god, the horrors of LPQ. Here's a scenario (a real one too): I come up to a platform, there's a noob waiting for someone else to fail. It's a 3 man pq with one afk, me, and this idiot. I fail the box. I come up a 8 platforms and he's still waiting there.
lolol, i hate when that happens...

sometimes people actually say which one is the right one and which ones aren't, problem is, you don't know if the one they're talking about has been passed already by someone else...so you're wondering should i follow his advice even though it may be old news..

my main peeve is teaming with noobs who don't know how to do the primary school math stage, it's so gay to be forced to quit at that point due to some noob dcing (since you need at least 3 people and i don't have those dolls/dogs)

Same, I don't get the box thing. Standing still and waiting for another person to come along just makes this slower. I have a tendency to rush through the PQ as fast as possible (especially if I'm trying to level up on my mules), and people that slow me down are slightly annoying.

@Applelicious: Harder than it is now, if you are going to push that point .

And i try to the R > No efftards...but it usually doesnt work, so i start hacking through the briar patch of idiots until i find a few good people

If people aren't saying which numbers are tried... I'm going to wait for them at the top. Then 3 people could have tried one number and not know about it.

I didn't even know they changed Lpq. I should check that out.
I have a lot of PQ moments. Like the Old MPQ, when we had to wait for that one player to get to the top of the platform or when they messed up the sneak.
PPQ when people just walk into the timed quest room but never get out.
When people AFk generally in the worst map of a pq and get upset to come back dead.
And much more...

@Daylight - Those were good times. But its a different day and age. And i dont mind it, fast leveling is great, but for whatever reason it gives people poo brains and they dont think logically, just on that big exp number at the end. And i like that number, i want to get it quickly as possible and im willing to help the party get to it. Not loot 6 mesos and be a jackass

That is seriously one of my lest favourite aspects of Ludi PQ: When party members don't try out the boxes. Like come on dude, it really won't go faster if you don't help. It irritates the crap out of me. Usually if there's even communication between my parties, I'm the only one saying which ones I attempt; people don't say so often.

I really understand how you feel
Maple community should make rule something like:
Leader assign party member a number 1, 2, and 3
Each party member ONLY tries that number when they got to the newer platform
Someone I used to pq came up with this idea and worked great

I feel I really wasted tons of time on that stage

lol i've seen people drop items and i seem to be the only one taking advantage of that...by avoiding them. Yeah I agree with you, I'm also one of the few who aren't scared to get sent back to start...hate those people who just stand on the box waiting...if you're not gonna help, why bother even going up so high, why not just afk? I also tell them which ones fail or which one it is. The only time I stand still is those awkward moments where we can't decide who should go first...because if he gets it right and goes up, and I go at the same second and fail, it's a waste of time. i also hate it when i stand with someone else on the same box and we can't decide who should go first. usually both of us go at the same time and fail...

Right, but either the people picking the coins back up need the 6 mesos like a crack head needs a fix or they are just griefing. So i punt them like a golddiggin girlfriend and find me a new party member

@Above - I remember how hard it was to do lpq, it forced people to work together and not be efftards. I try to simplify things for people and not waste time. But they either find 6 mesos so irresistible that they cant leave it or they want people to make several wrong attempts. I remember how to do JMS puzzle boxes for stage 8. The new pq's are a pittance of a reminder of the old ways. And im not nostalgic, i like the experience and how easy it is, but i hate being griefed.

But you don't need to mark it anymore O_O I thought there's that sparkling light thing after you get it right.
Oh, but of course, I hate people who don't shout out failed attempts or they just AFK on that stage </3
