Math hmwk help
Hey guys, I've been stuck on this one problem for god noes why. I've done harder questions than this before, but I can't seem what the common denominator would be to solve it out.
Solve by any method:
6/x + 6/x+9 = 1
Thanks for the help~

What are you talking about.
You mean unplugging what I got back into the equation? If so, yes I did, but it didn't work.
@HolyDragon
Thanks. I got it now, I was confused at the x+9 part when I had to multiply, I kept trying to cancel the x out, but now I remember you can't since it's seperated by a + sign. And yes I do, I looked there but couldn't figure it out.
6/(x) + 6/(x+9) = 1
Let's go one step at a time.
Multiply by x.
6 +6x/(x+9) = x
Now (x+9)
(6x + 54) + 6x= x^2+9x
Solve.
