I don't think you understand that their are no set prices in this game, people can sell items for whatever price they feel like, all it depends on is the buyer pretty much.

Yeah, you're right about that. I wrote that post because one of your contentions was that a 3% dex difference could not be worth 25b.

The other thing about demand curve is that it is shifted by complementary/substitute goods. Your shoes isn't the only shoe in the world so there will be substitute good and therefore your price level will always be influenced by said substitutes.

All in all, you're full of it. You cannot "choose" a price regardless. If I had the only dominator pendant in the world, I cannot "choose" ANY price to sell it at and simply sell it, people will find an alternate.

I'm pretty sure that their are no "set" prices in this game. High supply or low supply.

I'm guessing that when @mikeeeee had the shoes, legendary potential wasn't even out. Cubing 21% on unique tiers was just as hard as getting 30% on legendary. On top of that, there was most likely a crashless dupe which meant dupers had unlimited white scrolls. What if a duper needed the 21% dex shoes to dupe, so he/she just decided to buy it for 400 white scrolls.. which was like nothing @ that time for a duper.

People don't understand that a lot of people overpay for items in this game.
For example:
More than a year ago, I had an empress crossbow, a duper messaged me and offered 500 GM GFA's for it (40b @ the time) because he needed it to dupe.
Recently, when LGR's started coming from gachapon, I bought one for 10b pure meso and resold it for 1.9m NX.
