maple points are the lowest tier of nx.
NX Prepaid = no resistrictions.
NX Credit = resitrictions
Maple Points = NX credit except can only be used on maplestory
Originally there was just 1 form of nx and maple points where nx was unrestricted and maple points had limitations like being unable to gift and purchase certain items (so you were limited to things that only benefited [i]your[/i] account. But now they separated prepaid from credit to restrict credit a little as well. Maple points still have the most limitations though, to prevent any sort of abuse.
the event runs to like january, so if you keep doing it, you will probably have enough for a few cubes...
You cant buy certain things and you cant gift like said above.
you can get them from events/ doing surveys, and i believe you can't gift with them
