how to solo normal magnus?

so i've tried to solo normal magnus a few times here, giant fail every time

when i get it to half health, i've already died like 13 times

damage is not a problem, in fact i only use maple warrior and warding

the problem is that i get killed when i can't move from some skill and meteors kill me, or magnus knocks me back across the map and i die from meteors anyways,

or when magnus one shots me somehow

so i took out half of its hp only dying 3 times, still failed because he auto killed me at 10% health left every time

still don't know how i die sometimes, probably going to retry after equipping reinforced gollux set

Actually it's very easy to dodge his spin attack. You just need to know the edge of his hit box for it. Even when under 25% you can still easily avoid it while staying inside the barrier. Now that you can move while in ishtar, it's super easy to avoid.
I'm pretty sure they fixed the green attack on normal magnus, which makes it 10x easier than before.

tips:
-stay at the edge of the blue area until under 25% hp (then hug him because then his spin always hits you)
-You can see the gas that stuns you like zakum's rocks a few seconds before. Just get out of range. If you're near the corner, the gas will never reach at the VERY corner. Sometimes you'll needa do that, other times a rock will stop you.
-If you see him charging up to rush, sometimes LE'ing the opposite way can get you to not slide too far where you don't want to. You'll get stunned but at least you can choose where you get stunned at by the super KB.

-under 25% hp, pick your poison when he starts to spin (look at where the rocks are and where you'll land)
-I like keeping him and myself in the corner at 25% so there's less bs KB into rock situations. Sometimes this creates situations where you can't help but die, but it's better than the alternative, imo.

Basically it just takes practice. You shouldn't be dying more than 2-3 times or at all before 25% hp. After that there are unavoidable death situations, but you usually have enough time to get through him.

Maybe I'll make a video today~
I don't think they fixed the green attack. I get hit by its attack when I am miles away from it, if anything they messed it up even more.

The current green attack he has (not sure if it has been fixed) remains in mid-air and makes Magnus rather difficult/bothersome to solo without a considerable range.

Try to stay in the middle of the map as the sleeping gas that will lock you in place generally releases itself in the edge of the map.

Magnus ignores your invincibility frames, so when he attacks avoid them. The only skill that doesn't 1 shot you is the spinning rush skill he uses.

You have to try avoid the sleeping gas thing so you won't be stunned.
As for everything else, it's luck and skill based.
I thought you don't play mercedes anymore.
