Why aren't these comments being removed?

I've been stalking a few rule-breaking posts that I've reported, and they're not being removed.

What gives? I reported them, like, three days ago.

Oh, really? That is a lot of reports if it takes two to three days to look at one.

I feel a lot better now that Ravkin and two mods posted in a row.

Topic locked and is to be stored in my chest of germy300/threads.
That seems odd.
Maybe the mods accidentally overlooked the reports.
Doesn't happen
Although, it feels like the mods are a little busy the past week and taking it slower than usual.
But nothing much to worry about, it will be back to normal soon, hopefully.

Is happening.
Try re-reporting the posts?
Please do. It won't give us another report if it's already been deleted.

@Anyone : Yeah, the thing is, though, I kind of wanted to establish this possible inconsistency to other users, while maybe getting a mod to shed some light onto the situation.

Also, what are you trying to say with mods have a lot of work to do?
If you're trying to ban people for using the word "idiot", it's not going to happen. The only reason, I'm sure, the basiler got suspended was because of the context. It probably involved a form of flame. If you dislike curse words, that's great, I do as well; but many of them originated with meanings acceptable and opposite of wrong at the time. They all have meanings behind them, the inappropriate ones are usually referred to as unacceptable. Anyways, don't be such a tattle-tale. There's a point where it's not your job anymore and you need to let things slide. If it's really worthy of being deleted, the moderators will take care of it on their own.
The user I remember that got suspended for saying idiot was something along the lines of "Don't blatantly steal someone else's work, idiot."

while the posts I am stalking right now are

"You are the only idiot, if it bothers you so much then don't bother to come to the forums. People are FREEto post what ever they want, and if you don't like it then to bad! Last time I checked it was a free country and freedom of speech is a right! IMO you are the only stupid person here."
and
"i dont have to click on them u idiot, i see them at least 2 times a day on basilmarket and i dont check basilmarket as much as alot of people
and the titles tell you these people want you to quit with them pretty much its just a cry for help in the end, its pathetic really...
so next time be stupid, id say dont make stupid comments but there are no stupid comments, only stupid people."
And why do you care?
I'm rage-reporting from a suspension I was just issued (it was valid though). Rage-reporting isn't satisfying if the user I reported doesn't actually get suspended...

Also implying the inconsistency over what posts get suspended and what aren't is ridiculous.
I don't think they get removed. I think they just send a warning / suspension to whoever you reported.
I'm pretty sure they're removed. I got suspended for one of my posts and it's erased from my posting history.

That'd be pointless if they didn't remove the comment, anyways.

@greenelf : Nah, the comment I reported attacked with "idiot". I've reported idiot before and the user was suspended.

Unless the Unmentioned Rules changed...again...

I'm not sure if I'm entirely correct, but only the really/somewhat offensive posts get deleted. If it's something minor like name calling, it usually isn't.
But you might want to PM a mod if you're really concerned about it.
