Classes with low status resist even worth funding?
Hi Guys,
So I've been enjoying some of the higher status res classes like kaiser/da/ds, etc.
I've got some pretty beefy gear on an evan, and he is SO easy to kill it's crazy.
I know I can stack 5 cygnus, and a ds card, but even still, seems pretty insignificant.
Do you think it's worth funding a character with low status resist?

if a cygnus keeps its link, it's 10%, if its given to someone else its 5% per cyg, maxed at 5 characters.
Does 5 cygnus even give 25% status resist? I know 1 gives 5% but I thought the effect states that the effect decreases for each subsequent one.
Lol at stock portfolio.
And the worth it, is just in reference to really enjoy playing a character that you can't do the same things that someone 1/3rd your range can, because that's how it is now.
At that point, it's "not worth it" and the gear could be moved.
The summon has duration 45 sec, cooldown of 80, so it's not a sure thing.
I guess with 15 base +25 cyg + 4 ds + 20 from willpower
I guess that ends up to be 64, so that isn't awful, although nowhere near hitting almost 100% on the previously mentioned classes.
Doesn't the Summon Dragon hyper give 80% status resist while the dragon is summoned? You should be fine especially if you have cygnus links, DS card, 100 willpower, and resistance potion to cover you during the downtime.
Who cares what's "worth it" so long as you enjoy the character you created? It's a game, not a stock portfolio.
Sir, you must not be evaning correctly.

I don't mean to be too condescending, but are you using magic guard? That's kind of important for mage survival. Also, status resistance generally has very little to do with survivability. There are few bosses that use lethal status effects, Zombie, Seduce, and Queen's Fire are basically it.
Max out your willpower, thats 20% more status resistance.
No they will be noob forever
