They look like emblems and act like fragments, 5 for armor and 15 for weapons I think, you dont really trade them in anywhere and they go into your use. And I guess technically RA is end game equipment until we get a higher limit on stars.

@gildarts: Guild contribution has a solo gain, then if you go with a guild mate you get the solo + a bonus rate. Like for example at Zakum, if you just solo czak, you would get 500 contribution, but if you went with a guild mate, you'd see 2 lines of contribution, one being 500 and the other being 2000. You only get the 2000 point one if your with other members of your guild. Same applies for RA (I am not sure on the numbers for CRA) but the numbers are less, I think its 100 for solo, and 100 + 1000 for going with a guild mate. So if they made RA soloable, and you went alone, you'd receive less.

They're changing it from the actual RA equip dropping to a coin system where coins drop and you have to trade in the coins for your choice of an equip. This doesn't mean RA is end game, empress will also have this same functionality to it. You never will know if a set is "end game" or not, as maple constantly changes.
