Keep 50% buff duration or change to attack speed?
Greetings fellow maplers,
I've grown bored playing dark knights for 2 years now. And I want to try out paladins. Do paladins need attack speed or buff duration for inner ability?

@Gildarts If the shield(lvl 75+) ends up having more att than page rosary, then shield is better(and it's not that hard to get att on a shield because your options are using shield for watt[from krexel quests] and icog). Also pages benefit from having a shield rather than using a subweapon(more dmg reduction, makes you feel godly) which is why people generally choose shield +1h>sub +1h. I remember someone also told me if your shield has more than 20-24 att (something like that) you can substitute out the use of a 2h and a sub.
Also I want to add, the untradable(after equipped, non psokable) terminus shield is lvl 160, thus a tier above the other shields/page rosary meaning, you can get 1% more att on each line of the shield or a slightly better potential, for the sacrifice of the shield staying with you forever, having no resale value.
tlr Shield is better in more ways than one when scrolled to have more att than rosary, for 1h wielders.
attack speed is better for a paladin. I wouldnt be able to solo hell gollux if I'm hitting it slower.

So If I use 1 handed sword, what kind of secondary weapon benefits me more? Page rosary or a shield? Does it make a difference?
if you got 50% duration, that's a keep.
it's indirectly helping you attack faster, by letting you skip how many times you have to rebuff during a boss session.

keep it, buff duration does work for blast buff making it really useful
I heard someone on basil saying buff duration % did not increase blast's duration.
It's always nice for other buffs I guess.
You probably don't need if you are going 1 hand. 2 hand though you will need at speed since it's only normal speed and not fast (like fafnir pa). so 1h-> buff duration, 2h-> atk speed
Why not both?
Buff duration sounds way more efficient than attack speed (never played a Paladin).
