When I used to do it, I never got the lightbulb on the side and I would have to go up to So Gong at the dojo thing and talk to him for my gloves
When dojo is counted, 5:50 and 11:50 am/pm PST everyday. You get a icon on the side of your screen where your lightbulb quests are, and it gives you your dojo gloves.
