What to upgrade on cannoneer?
I have decided to create a second character, because I need another character to do bossing with for extra cash, I got my Shade to level 200, plus I really enjoy Pirate classes and Cannoneer is the only one I don't have past level 150.
I have no idea what to upgrade first though, and I am only asking because I am trying to make this a bossing class, without breaking my bank, as I am planning on funding both my Shade for end game plus Cannoneer as secondary class. I have about 15b once my shop sells out, 12b currently.
These are the gears I have:
Weapon: +40 Attack 3% STR cannon (Eww IK)
Secondary: 30% boss 12% ATT
Emblem: 6% STR 30% PDR, 6% ATT
Badge: 6% STR
Hat: 15% STR clean
Top: 12% STR clean
Bottom: 17% STR (2% neb)
Rings:
Fully scrolled Superior 6% STR
Fully Scrolled Reinforced 9% STR
Fully Scrolled Solid 3% STR
Fully Scrolled Cracked 3% STR
Earrings: Fully scrolled Superior 6% STR
Pendant: Fully Scrolled Superior 0%
Shoes: 5 Star 0% Tyrant
Belt: 4 Star 0% Tyrant
Cape: 5 Star 6% Tyrant
Shoulder: Nothing
Heart: Nothing
Eye: Nothing
Face: Nothing
What I am wondering is: Should I buy a weapon (they are so hard to find, found none so far) or self scroll? How much will that cost or expect to spend? Should I cube myself or look for one already cubed? After my weapon, what should I focus on afterwards? Tyrants? CRA gear? I really don't even know, never funded a second character, my Shade was just a process, not all in one go.

Get your IA to +1attack speed
Cannon comes first.
Farm commerci for an eye and/or face.
And all your stuff that has 0-3% str try to get at least 6%
Buy the cannon unique (in scania they are 500m or less) Cube that for atk and boss. Get boss nebs for wep and sec. I'd try to drop a few more stars on all your tyrants (maybe get them to 7?) Go for the 4 best gollux rings that you can (sup, rein, solid) and scroll those. SweetH20 face and eye aim for 7-10% str at first. Quote me if there's anything I forgot or something specific. Can I ask what your current range is? Also listen to what ^ said about the weapon.
@aznunlt dude that seems pretty difficult just for your cannon haha, I saw them for 500m unique and clean in the fm the other day. I though that as a general rule, rarer classes (ab, hayato, cannon, ect) had much cheaper unique weps because people got them from bossing and had no use for them
EDIT: just found and bought a 3l unique 3l rare b pot fafnir cannon for 222 mil... so they should be pretty cheap. Just start your search and check once a day for serveral days so you know you're getting a good deal
Make your own weapon. Either 15% trace it or utilise the prime scrolls atm although may be hard to get all 10 now. The cs sale for shield scrolls etc is on now too which helps. Cannons are extremely rare in fm and when you do see one it is way overpriced. I spent about 40k nx on scrolls then about 1.2b on protection scrolls. Primes from current event was free so that cut cost. Unique pot scroll was 1b, then another 15k nx to bring it to legendary. Used event bonus pot scroll, yet to perfect that avenue but hey it's a lot cheaper than someone asking 300k nx for a perfect cannon lol.
