Making money nowadays?
I've just come back to maple after a long time away and I was wondering how most people make their money nowadays? It seems that the average quality of equips is much higher than it was when I left (when did the damage cap get so high?), but the old ways of making money (merchanting) are pretty dead. Is it mostly just boss runs now?

1. Move to china.
2. Get a Chinese credit card.
3. Use a VPN to represent yourself online as a North American.
4. Make a new account. Train a character to level 60.
5. Charge NX on that account with your Chinese credit card.
6. Cube something, sell it or keep it and move it to your main account.
7. Call your credit card company and charge the NX back.
8. Laugh at Nexon.
Just merch, iv made about over 20bil so far from merching.
I'm afraid the best chance you had for making billion(s) is being removed in the maintenance going on right now.

Farming elite bosses make old style of merchanting look like a joke
Great advice guys. Thank you! I had seen elite monsters a few times, but had no idea that they could be profitable (or really what they were). Seems like they could be pretty good for growing my funds a bit.
Elite bosses, gollux scroll service and commerci items are the easiest ways I think
In the current state of the game I rarely attempt merching and buy just cheap clean end game gears and scroll them myself with event things because it's just so much easier.
OT: Sell cubes, elite boss drops, and CRA/Tyrants.(CRA isn't that profitable unless you get a claw which goes to around 700m in scania)
sell services, farm events, elite mobs are pretty much all the legit methods. Sell Karma Koins is unlegit so don't do it.
i chaos scroll CRA gear if it gets 10 att i sell it for 100m more than i bought it and people buy them if not i fuse them and re scroll it costs about 40m to make a 10-15 att cra top and i make about 60m profit
