So I am confused with what red tickets are for. A school friend told me that it will give you levels in the red update and other people told me it's for coins. Help please

So I am confused with what red tickets are for. A school friend told me that it will give you levels in the red update and other people told me it's for coins. Help please

It's probably for mesos.
Initially I thought it was for levels too haha, but when I read coins on Basil, it made a lot more sense.
But even still, we never know! Nexon hasn't officially said anything about it so no one knows.
RED Monsters
November 13 - December 3
Requirement: Lv.13+
- Accessible through the Lightbulb icon on the left side of the screen or by talking to Cassandra.
- You will receive a RED Gachapon Box that requires a key.
- In order to obtain the RED Key, you must fight RED monsters that randomly spawn every 3 hours.
- You can receive a box on one character per account per day.
Rewards include:
- Crystal Scale
- Magical Teapot
- Philosopher's Book
- Fairy Vial
- Magic Harp
- Tommelise's Box
I really though the tickets were needed to fight the monster without having to wait for them to spam o.o
Some derp in another thread said that Nexon confirmed it wasn't for coins
