Only a small percentage of the population got the chance to abuse the scrolls last night because the time frame was very small. The damage was controlled.

I doubt people would bother to buy the scroll service because collateral makes it much more difficult to do so. Plus the scrolls do expire. If the sellers can't find a buyer, they will probably use the scroll on hearts or weapons and sell them later.

I got one, how did people get more? Different accounts I imagine.

Because Nexon forgot to remove the rewards.
For the first few hours people were getting those scrolls until Nexon removed them.
The early birds got the initial reward AND the changed reward.
