Pole Arm Booster?
Sooooooo I went back into my skills today because I didn't max final toss, when I realized that pole arm booster now apperently "triples attack speed". I didn't realized this before, because I never used polearm booster... I thought that with a PSB (fast attack speed) and polearm mastery (Attack speed + 1 step) that I would be attacking at max speed. But when I decided to try out polearm mastery just for giggles, I realized that I seem to be attacking MUCH faster.
So, I was wondering if there is a new tier of speed? It always used to go Slower~Slow~Normal~Fast~Faster, is there a new tier, like fastest or something? Or does booster just raise attack speed regardless? Either way I am very happy about this discovery ^^

A factor of (10%) / (9%) / (8%) damage, approximately, for speed upgrades of (5~4) / (4~3) / (3~2), respectively. Using FT, that is.
If, say, using Booster brought your speed from 4 to 2, that's approximately a 17% increase in damage, just from using Booster with a fast5 partisan (counting the 1 speed from PAMastery).
17% is less than half the 35% massive-passive damage boost we get from Snow Charge, but I think you're right to say Booster is a huge DPM Booster.
Plus the fact that faster attacks build faster combos.
Haha I know. Its just I'm his friend and I never noticed he didn't use polearm booster.

WRONG. Aran's booster removes 3 from speed. It's quite exceptional.
A partisan (like the OP has) is Fast (5).
The speeds are:
Slower (9)
Slow (8)
Slow (7)
Normal (6)
Fast (5)
Fast (4)
Faster (3)
Faster (2)
With a total speed boost of 4 stages from all the Aran skills, using a Normal polearm will allow Arans to hit cap.

Um... lol. All i can say is use booster from now on xD You are probably using a partisan or psb, both are fast (5). Like you also said arans get a passive (1) speed boost so you were on speed (4) up until i guess you started using booster. Aran booster speeds our polearms by 3 like in the description. The cap speed is (2) and not (4) which is what you were using because you didnt use booster lololol. With booster you are hitting at cap speed. Without you are only hitting at (4)
