How to make Elite boss spawn?

I got to 999 combo twice and killed 9 of the big mobs, but each time it said that the energy was still there and making the place grim. How do I make the boss spawn?

If you go on google and actually look it up, there are many forums and topic that cover this. You have to kill 20 Elite Mobs to get an Elite Boss to spawn on a fresh map that has yet to have any Elite Bosses killed. And then depending on how many were already killed before you got there, you may only need to kill less. After each Elite Mob, there should be a notice either saying "Blah blah blah Grim" or "Blah blah blah in the Darkness". If you get the first message, you still have quite a lot to kill. If you get the second one, you'll only have about 3-4 more left to kill before the boss spawns.

I'd imagine it takes a certain number of elite mobs to get the boss to summon. I'm also assuming the current count stays the same even if the map stays dormant without anyone summoning an elite mob on it for days. I just want to know what the number is.

Are we sure the magic number is 14?
A thing I've noticed is that when you are somewhat close to an elite boss spawn the message that appears after you kill the elite monster will say:

"You feel something in the darkness."
as opposed to

"The darkness is still in the air. It's making the place quite grim."
This seems to be the key to it, although unlocking that particular message seems to take a variable amount of Elite Monster kills.

I killed 8 or 9 Elite Monsters before a Boss showed up at Warrior Grounds.

well while i was selling kanna service yestarday a boss monster appeared when the guy reached lv 99, we started at lv 40 and it took about 4 hours of grinding, killed like 10+ big mobs before it spawned. so i imagine the rate in which they appear is incredibly low

The Elite Mob count stays: if someone trains in the map and kills 13, then you can get the boss, hence scattered results.
Well, I only killed 4 and got it, so.

I'll add my 2 cents. I think its random, since on my evan, it took me around 30 minutes for one to spawn, and in the mean time of doing so, i killed 2 elites. But after that, around 100 levels later at DGP, i was training for about 5 minutes and a elite boss spawned. But then on my Dual blader, i kill 4 elites before a boss spawned. But after that, it took around another hour for the boss to spawn again.

Anyone know if the items dropped from these elite monsters/bosses are good drops like kms? or they nerfed them over here?

I killed from about 20-25 elites... The elite boss finally spawned... Killed it... Didn't get a single item in the bonus stage...

Probably just very rare. Or you have to kill big spawn quickly enough.

I had the same problem at Temple of Time. I killed around 8 elites and a boss never spawned.
