Anyone else finding it a bit hard to adjust to the NW nerfs?
I tried bossing for the first time yesterday since the nerfs and I had a really difficult time with the CRA bosses. I didn't realize how dependent I was on Night Walker's healing from attacking and the new HP regen is pretty underwhelming. I'm trying to get used to it though since I understand that NWs were pretty OP prior to the nerf but it's taking a while...

@lecarde: np, it's just that your original comment was a bit off-putting when I was trying to just have a discussion. And you're right, it's actually not that bad. I killed cvellum today pretty easily compared to how many tries it took me to kill cqueen.
@atsumare: I'm having a harder time killing cqueen than cvellum. Cvellum mechanics is still pretty similar to pre-nerf cvellum mechanics. Guild skills help A LOT though and I'm overly safe

Sorry, I'm used to people on the official forums who were having breakdowns about these nerfs and honestly believed that the class didn't need them. They are all crying about how its so unfair to still be one of the top classes in the game despite these nerfs. That alone should show them just how broken NW were before REboot. But yea, if you are capping still then the only thing you should have to get used to is less healing and the backstep CD. It does suck, but I think that you can do it
@lecarde: I'm not really complaining so I'm not sure why you're being so aggressive LOL. And I'm not wrong when I say that Night Walkers are squishy now... because they are when compared relatively to other classes. The purpose of this thread is to gauge at whether other people are having a difficult time adjusting to the changes and it seems that they are.
@atsumare: I just tried cvell and it's actually not that bad. I think for me cqueen is the hardest now due to not being able to HP regen
@ielmo "So squishy"? they are on par with every other class now. You were broken before, and now you actually have to play the game like it was designed lol but to be honest, NW should have been nerfed immediately upon release, but he wasn't and that is why the nerf in Reboot was so big, because the whole nerf to the class came in 1 update. It is harder to play on them now, which is unfortunate and just something you will have to get used to
i can relate to this nerf, im having struggles on cvell, mostly because of the cd on back step. 5 Sec are quite some time, enough for few tails to pop up and the dmg cap nerf well that takes forever to kill.
@terfil, @star909: Yeah I'm on the same boat and I know it can be done since there's a video of someone on KMS killing cvell post-nerf. It's just gotten so much harder since NWs are so squishy now without the HP regen
@doomfire77: I was super tempted to make a new character but then I decided that I'm too lazy to put in the effort. Considering an Evan or some warrior class...
the nerf is why i went back to my phantom lol
@terfil: That sounds like too much reliance on the healing too, or lack of practice or not being used to the backstep cooldown maybe. Either way that sounds like player based rather than character based (a mix of both?)
My friend could do cvell prior to nerf and he cant now (still caps). Thats a pretty crazy drop.
