Trouble with gollux

I have a 65k range on my cannon, but I fail gollux half the time because the abdomen kills me. How am I supposed to dodge the puffs of purple and red? The warning pops up almost at the same time as the actual attack, and on my mage I usually tele and on wind archer i wind walk, but with the slowness of our attacks and the fact you have to jump to get any distance with the knock back jump, what am i supposed to do?
I did gollux with around 45k buffed. Depends what difficulty you're doing. I did normal with about 110k. What everyone else is saying. Just stand in the middle. Like the dead on center. He shouldn't be able to hit you there from past experience. And I was always able to dodge the plooms of smoke or whatever by watching those crystals. Idunno.
Difficulty has nothing to do with shoulders and abs. Their stats don't change.

50k range is the minimum. Not too sure about boss att but I did it at 50k-60k range w/ 39% boss att.

Actually if you can center your character correctly, then you wont. Purple puff attacks don't hit the center.

if your HP is odd, you can take 2 hits from purple before healing. having Aran Character card or HP healing familiar also hellps if you don't
with 15% HP recovery Familiar and pot every 2 hits, you can probably be fine

you could also exit the map and heal

Go to the center of the diamond shape of the abdomen. There you wont be attacked by the purple puffs but it wont help you from the red ones.
