Will my new computer be good enough for no lag anywhere?
My current comp has integrated graphics
2x2.00ghz cpu
2g ram (2 sticks 1gb each)
is a vista
When I log into ms if I go into any town on any ch my game slowly freezes then crashes in about 1 min, and I even tested making a new char and when I just press the attk key it drops my fps to like 5 for a few secs, so anyone saying this is good enough which is all i seemed to see on the internet is wrong.
New comp
8x3.10 ghz cpu (mtf of 4.00 if less than 4 cores in use)
8gb ddr3 1600 ram (2 sticks 4gb each)
AMD radeon HD 7770 1gb graphics card
and either windows 7 or 8 which is better? in general and for ms

I use windows 8 w/ maple 4gb ram I dc everytime I set up a shop overnight
wow maybe you should uninstall vista on your old comp and install XP or add more ram if there is more ram slot.
Lag is also based on your connection.
I don't have two cpus, if your reffering to top of post its 2 cores, and if you are seeing that i listed 2 its 2 dif computers 0.o

you wont find that kind of speed here in the U.S. without forking over a lot of money. Only isp i know that provides 100+ Mbps is verizon but its really expensive plus its only available in certain areas.

my internet download speed is 30mb/s, internet will be no problem I think
just keep in mind that lag isn't >> solely<< on your computer. other factors play apart into such as your internet. if you have beast computer but crap internet, you WILL lag.
if you have crap computer but beast internet, you will probably lag too because your computer just can't keep up. however if you have both (beast computer & fast internet) you will have no lag provided that Nexon's servers isn't lagging at all.
windows 8 does not have any problems guys

I feel that Windows 8 looks bad due to the start menu, the OS was designed mainly for touch screens and tablets. It apparently runs faster than Windows 7, I remember seeing some comparison chart somewhere. Your new computer should also be running MapleStory with little to no lag. Just make sure to install all the updates.
