Buy a 3ds now or wait?
So I've been wanting to buy 3DS along with the new Pokemon ruby remake, soul silver, Mario kart and maybe a few other games. Things is should I wait until black Friday/cyber Monday? Will they be cheaper? I have the patience to wait so it's not a big deal to me. What would you guys recommend? Also this is the first time I've had a hand held game system sense I had the old gameboy so lol. Should I expect something different? Thanks
Oh and I forgot a quick edit will I find it cheaper online or at the store.

I would wait for the "new" 3DS
1. 3ds XL Mario & Luigi Bundle is on sale right now at Best Buy (-$179)
2. Buy a refurbished one directly at nintendo (-$150)
Thanks for the clarification any suggestions for a reasonable size?
Sorry for the very delayed response-
As a reference point, I have a 2GB SD card in mine, which I was able to have Pokemon X with 5 3DS-made e-shop games and 6 classic games, with still 600 MB to go.
better be the 3DS XL
Yes it will be
better be the 3DS XL
The new model that was just announced seems worth waiting for, though it seems to be awhile after the release of ORAS so... up to you. Given the new specs on it+C Stick I'd probably wait if I didn't already have one, but I don't think pokemon is going to make use of the new specs.
There probably will be a bundle with a themed cover, so if you like the art on that, it's a good choice.
Well I'm not looking to go hardcore with the 3DS I just want to play some games that kill time in between my classes, has online gameplay and some other stuff.

I'd say wait because of the new one that's coming out eventually. If you want the new one, you could get that one, or if you wanted a different one, their price will probably drop once the new one comes out
Much like the Wii/Wii U's e-shop, you buy the virtual system off of the network and it downloads into the system's memory. The 3DS's memory is very limited if you want to download big games (Such as getting a digital copy of a 3DS game), so if you want to buy games that aren't the small, classic games, I'd recommend also investing in a compatible SD card.

E-shop? So does the 3DS have it it's own memory or is it all saved on Nintendo's sever?

Theres a new model of 3DS coming out with a second analog stick and additional shoulder buttons.
It might not be coming out this year tho (outside of Japan)
"As for the overseas markets, our local subsidiaries will separately confirm. However, there will be no U.S. and European launches this calendar year."
If you are coming from a Gameboy then you will see a HUGE difference jumping all the way to the 3DS.
If you are also interested in classic games, then the E-Shop offers older games.
If you can hold off till black Friday / Cyber Monday then go for it as it will most likely be cheaper.
