How do I know if im an archer

I've been facing a dilemma lately. I don't know if i'm an archer or not... Let me elaborate. Since 2007 I've played maplestory, from then to now I have skipped from one class to the other. In 2010 I finally settled down and mained an Aran. After 3 years of work, I got to 200. Somewhere throughout those 3 years I lost interest in my aran though. I made a Dual Blade shortly after. As you can see i'm 200 now but I'm still uncertain as too what class I am. I am so torn between classes. With warriors I love Arans and love aspects of each individual class. (Being tanks and dealing high damage). With thieves I'm almost never hit and attack fast dealing burst damage for the most part. I love the ranged attacks of archer along with the skill animations. It's always been one of the general classes I admired from afar but never went to become one myself. The rest of the classes I know aren't for me though. The only exception would be Evan, but I'm not willing to spend nx for the skill books just for it to become another character I never play. So what do you think archers? I know some of you may say "you posted in the archer section so it's obvious" but that's not the case. Thanks for any insight you can give me and have a nice night.

I've always described archers as the proudest class. Right from day one warriors and mages filled the game and bowmen were despised and looked down upon for their low hp and survivability. It's no accident that the highest ranked players are not bowmen. But I fell in love with Potatohead, as did many other fellow bowmen. We stuck together through the ages as we watched thieves and pirates get added to the game. When the fourth job came out we were instantly in awe of our new superpowers. We revelled in the fact that we were bowmen who had survived to be 120 while others fell to the lures of the damage, survivability, and mobility of the other classes.

To be an archer, you need to love it, breathe it, and live it. You need to know that you're an archer and be proud of it. It's like a religion. There's no point being in it if you're not in it 24/7. Archers will always be the best class, and not because they do the most damage or tank the most hp, but because we want them to be. Because we believe deep down in our hearts that bowmen will always triumph over the others, because we have something that they do not.

One day, you would get a blister on your thumb and feel the accomplishment of shooting a thousand arrows. That is when you know you are an "Archer".

Just play one for fun and see how it goes. We can't divine what the right class for you will be, that destined class may not even exist yet.[/quote]

I think he's mistaken by the one from Warriors.

If you like being tanky as you said, you could try Wild Hunter. I think they have pretty good HP compared to the other archers. Their hurricane move is also really nice.

If I were you, i'd just start collecting gear. There has been speculation on a sengoku archer class so who knows...
