Regrets Me life filled with em

So I'm a soldier, and I've been in my base for the last month, the thing is it was my birthday this Sunday and I asked my commanding officer to go home since I've been for so long in the base plus it's my birthday and he approved it to me... The thing is when I came home I realized none of my friends are home they're all in their bases (I live in Israel where you're obligated to recruit at the age of 18) and although I've spent some quality time with my family I didn't really enjoy this birthday since I haven't celebrated it.
Yes some of my friends will come home this weekend and I'ma go drink myself silly but still celebrating in the base with my army friends is quite an experience as well.. damn I hate making mistakes and realizing I did 'em a second too late =
