Tips to solo Van Leon
Hi fellow bowmasters,
I tried soloing Van Leon for the first time the other day and found that mob control is very difficult.
I was hoping if I can have some advice on how to solo Van Leon efficiently. Thank you in advance.

VON LEON! I loved fighting that thing. I can't solo it because I suck I always take a party.

160% boss + 138~140k depending if i use echo or not. + I always crit.

When you get potential locked, suicide on the Dr. not worth waiting out the lock. it slows you down.

Don't use phoenix.
Don't use Elite Puppet. They are both worthless and end up getting you crashed due to a glitch.
You must stand on his main body while using hurricane, never kill a mob and feel ashamed if you ever do. They are baby seals(rhino/pigs).
He will heal with the Mini Gollems, don't get to down about it cause it happens and it's not really something bowmasters can prevent currently(our mobbing sucks in this aspect).
When he turns purple he's going to damage reflect, REMEMBER THIS ANIMATION ALWAYS~! Him using damage reflect is the [b]CURE[/b] for Potential Lock and being warped into the key room. Remember : The less time you're at one tenth of your full strength the faster and less chance you'll be crashing and angry. Many times drain arrow is handy, other times you'll rarely get hit or have enough damage done to you to even justify it's use with the tiny potion cooldown.
There really isn't much else there is to it. Try keep him on the Left side of the map towards the portal, I just find it's a better place to put him mainly because you can instantly spawn with him right there, getting right back into it.

@lindemann : That's not the reason, while his hitbox is big it isn't why you're hitting him in mobs. The reason you're able to hit Von Leon rather than mobs infront of him or what ever is because he is the first monster to spawn on the map. Hence : Having priority to die first before anything else.

That was the second time i tried soloing and i succeeded. For some reason i can not explain i contstantly hit Von Leon if i stood in the middle of the mobs. His hitbox must be huge as above posters said.
Why you solo char? Take me and I get you tons of coins.

this ._. i just take the SoB to the corner and go nuts.
@deathsushi92: They teleport to the most "threatening" character. i.e, if it's a solo, to you (not sure how that works with puppet).
I think... the bossing style differs depending on your range, but assuming you have enough HP: sit on top of VL and fire away (I've never cared about mob control but that's probably because I have the range to support that). Always be cautious of DR.
Elite puppet is always your best friend, just lure the mobs into a big clumb and hurricane leon since his hitbox is freakin' huge.
