Should I Switch From Shad to Night Lord?

Hello there basil!

After looking at the beast tamer update notes I've noticed that we get a Job Advancement Coin once again (yay don't gotta spend mesos) and now I'm conflicted should I remain a Shadower or switch to Night Lord. I personally enjoy both game play styles of both jobs however I've been getting quite annoyed with my shad due to the damage inflicted upon me when I 1v1 bosses. I'm still able to kill them and all but it really drains my pots and causes me to sometimes nearly die. So I'm looking for opinions whether I should switch to Night Lord or not. I currently have 87% luk total (Not much I know) and a 252 att 12% loveless dagger
When you're bossing, you're 100% more likely to just spam nate. I've never really seen anyone dodge with BS during boss runs.

My brother is a shad, he doesnt play much but when i do see him playing he's usually bossing.

The other day i watched him solo the dipq boss, blackheart. When ever blackheart was about to do one of his dragon breath attacks, he would use boomerang steb because it has invisbility frames then go back to spamming asassinate; he didnt get hit once. In the beginning of the fight when he was using assaulter to push blackheart <<<<<< of the map and corner him, he took 2k touch damage from blackheart which left me speechless cus my drk takes like 9k or 10k touch damage, that meso guard hella op.

He uses similar techniques against RA bosses, for some reason i just assumed all shads did this.

@isirJiro: I kinda dont understand.... you're a shad... high luck = high avoid.. plus shadow step avoid.. plus boomerang step invisibility frames.. plus that op skill meso guard that reduces monster dmg to nothing... plus the many many easy ways to get hp% ...im just having a hard time believing a shad is having survivability problems

I'd say stick with shad if your issue is survivability.
While they are long range, they get wrecked in training spots.

@PhreshPrynce: I actually know how to control my shad, just annoying to deal with close ranged damage inflicted upon when it's to late to fj out of the way for.
I suppose but most of the bosses I do only deal damage close ranged and not ranged and I've played a Night Lord before, So I assume I won't have as much trouble surviving I hope o.o
Well then it sounds to me that your problem is the fact that you arent good at controlling your shadower. Now you can either put in more of an attempt to get better or you could say forget it and jus go Nl. Most importantly, you just need to understand that the problem is you, not the class, no offence.
