Switching to Shadower
I'm planning on switching to a Shadower after coming back to Maple and was wondering if someone can help me in terms of gears/prices..
I'm on Bera and since I've never played a Shadower before, and I've been on an year hiatus, my knowledge on items/prices are little to none.
My current funding is 5b and was wondering if someone on the Shadower forum can give me tips on what I should be looking to buy and for how much!
I'm currently level 190, with no set items (I'm using level 80/90 items with czak helm that gives a good amount of %luk). I have no Dagger or secondary weapon and although I'm not looking to deal 10 million damage per line and such, I would like to at least be considered average among the Shadower class.
If you need more info, I'll be glad to post the specifics of my current equips!

If she is going for fair-tier equips for now, then scrolling with 70's then Ehhancing is progbaly the best solution. Just don't bother witht he failed scrolls and slots. Just waste around 100mil randomly scrolling for now.

@daringwaffle Oo, I see, I guess I'll start working on it! Btw, do you happen to know if there is an item like white scroll? In case I want to make a semi decent dagger, I want to make sure I get all 9 scrolls to work!

you can make a 252atk dagger for like 200m+the cost of a clean dagger, using 100% spell traces and starforce enhance now! not amazing but good for cheap, unless you find a good deal on something someone made
If you were in Scania I'd sell you a 274 atk 9%att fafnir dagger for 3.5b

@epikkhighh Well atm I'm only looking for the weapons since I'm planning on using my current equip on my NL. As for CRA set, I guess I can slowly work on obtaining them, but since I'm making a switch to Shadower, I feel like weapons should be my priority.

if you are starting fresh, yeah 5b will get you nowhere. a clean dra khanjar = 1.5b, pants top and dagger = roughly a bil (scania prices) so thats half of your mesos gone. then you need to potent them, make them 3L, epic potent, cube, and lastly spell trace/use scrolls on it. thats way past 5b.
@gooddeals I see thanks for letting me know! Merching might be a bit to difficult for me since I'm not familiar with which items are popular these days/pricing on said item. Also I'm limited to time since classes will be starting for me soon, so yeah. I guess I'll make do with what I have! In Bera how much would a 250~270att Fafnir dagger me worth?
@likeabosss I get +21%luk just from my top and bottom. Would CRA set be better if scrolled? The gollux set I guess I can manage on my own, I also get +24% luk from cape and gloves, so again would the empress cape+glove be a better investment? I appreciate the tip, but I just wanted some clarification before I start shopping!
1.cra theif set,fafnir dagg (scroll with 70% traces then enhance and sorry I don't play shad so idk a average attack )
2.reinforced gollux set.
3.empress cape,gloves (scroll and enhance),and shoes
Everything else should just be scroll with spells traces just to get slots gone then proceed to enhancing everything
(That is the wiser option imo if you are restricted on funds)
You will get imo a pretty decent range nothing godly but decent
@Hydraxide Shads are the best bang for the buck this much is true, but he was asking that he be considered average amongst shads and 5b aint gna make that happen.
@lsmilel a decent att for a dagg would be 250+ in my opinion but tbh i would merch that 5b first before starting up

What's considered a decent attack Fafnir dagger?

He'll be getting further with a shad than any other thief except maybe xenon.
