Hayato

Any potential in Hayato?

Heeey,
So I was playing around and noticed I've never really given Hayato a chance. I've always heard poor things about him, but he looks super fun from what I'm seeing. I'm thinking about making one, but I just want people to clarify on why they are seen as such a weak class. Are they hard to fund, boring, or just extremely weak? I can't even see a hayato gollux run on youtube and it just seems super underwhelming for such a cool looking class haha.

Hayato is no joke even when funded. <----- Currently the only warrior class I haven't been able to complete the Dragon & Tiger quest with, I'm stuck at Dojo with them bosses lol. Hayato hits too damn low. All my other warriors had no problem. Might need to get some boss nebs for this one. <3

i think hayatos can become a great 1v1 class towards endgame funding. i recently had a bucc friend buff me with SI and the attack speed increase along with green MPE+ booster is disgusting. just thinking about a capping hayato with all the speed modifiers...zzzz

i find hayato the class i have the most fun using. to the point where im maining it now instead of a DS. but yeah, damage is noticeably weaker than other classes. but like someone said, other classes already got their revamps. gotta wait for hayato's turn now. using a katana is definitely a plus for me lol and it stands out compared to other warrior classes. the skills are fun to use and the way you zip around the map instead of fj or tele is new and enjoyable once you get use to the mobility.Hitokiri strike is one of the most simple animated but also the most badass skill ive seen and i love it lol. and once you reach 177 you unlock the hyper skill for it where it literally takes away the cooldown (88s). for bossing, hayato is at a disadvantage when doing 1v1. but against a boss like horntail, hayato kills it easily since hayato's main attack is a mobbing skill, so you'll hit the heads and the arms at hte same time. And i wouldn't say its extremely weak. its just weaker than the revamped classes.

But yeah, in the end its to each their own. try it out. if you like it, continue using it. if not then wait for the revamp (if there is one) for it. definitely need funding though or a good amount of luck at getting good potential'd items. other than that, their play style is definitely fun.

well. im a funded hayato.. 1.6mill range clean.. it is HARD to fund but it is EXTREMELY fun when your able to solo most bosses at that range.. I can pretty much solo errthang but Chaos PB, Chaos RA, princess, hard magnus, (still haven't tried empress yet) and I can do hard gollux solo as well... maybe 8-10 min or so..... basically you have to be dedicated to the class cause they are weak compared to the other warriors but their mobility and status resistance is very nice.......

i actually find flash jump quite slow now. also, you should never need all cures since our status resistance is basically infinite.

Why people say they're not good at bossing? The lvlv 177 hyper for Hitokori Strike seems to be a good skill to boss with, or is there something I'm missing?

I wouldn't get Hayato for bossing purposes as their 1v1 damage output is not the greatest. However, for mobbing purposes, Hayato is impressive. Their reach with Sanrenzan (which you'll have in all jobs) pretty much reaches to the edge of the screen and mobs decently well. You can pretty much train exclusively with this attack in most of your jobs (though there are some combination skills you can use that apparently do more overall damage). Mobility is also pretty good... though you don't have an actual flash jump-like skill. You do have a great vertical mobility skill, however... which has an attack as you land, but you can cancel it by attacking before landing).

Overall... if I were to compare Hayato to another class, I'd probably say Luminous - great mobbing, not great bossing.

Still, I've played and enjoyed Hayato and would suggest if you want to try them, there's nothing stopping you.

Personally, the main reason why I main-ed a Hayato was mainly because of all the trash people says about Hayato, so I do what I can to change people's views upon them. But sure right now they might be weaker than all other jobs. But do keep in mind, majority of all the other jobs has been revamped if not once then twice, Also it's true that Hayato's are quite hard to fund, which is why most just find them a waste of time. In conclusion, No Determination = No Results. Set goals for what you want to achieve and pursue it and live with no regrets !

I really wish I were joking, but bossing really isn't our forte. I rarely use all-cures so maybe it might be closer to 35 minutes, but still, not great.
Hayato's are pretty fun, if you're about mobility and skill combining I think you'd enjoy it. They're great at mobbing and if you know what you're doing you can ks pretty much anyone. I would say the biggest downside of the class is that they're not very good at bossing, my range is 150-190k buffed right now and it still takes me like 45 minutes to solo czak. Ultimately it depends on what you play the game for, if you're all about bossing and soloing you might have better luck with another class, but if you're into flashy moves, mobbing, being able to fly across the map, and being undeniably badass I think you might enjoy Hayato's.

As far as funding goes, I would say its about as hard as any other warrior. Katana's aren't usually too expensive.
this sums it up pretty much. flashy and fun but mediocre at bossing. i remember making a zero for the link skill and finishing bosses at the same time as my hayato with 1/3 of the range. that comment about 45m czak at 200k range is all too true, could possibly be a little quicker if you maintain willow dodge stacks and keep the hitori buff up but still insignificant. our primary single target damage skill is essentially the same as our mobbing skill until getting the 3 hyper skills for shinsoku. but even then, it's not much of a difference.

Does it seriously take you 45 min to solo czak? It takes only takes my hero 20 min and I have a 60k range buffed...
