I would normally agree that there has been a lot of crap making its way to the front page, but I actually find this good.
+1 good job XD
So tell me smart guy. Where do I say if the screen is bad or not. Did I not say Request..?
Meaning how does beleringer or however the hell you spell it keep getting these request.
No where did I say anything about his screen
I'm not trying to be smart. To me, asking how "this guy" keeps getting requests implies that the artist shouldn't have people asking him to draw them. Apparently I have misunderstood what you were saying, in which case I have no problems apologising.

I feel like the neck suddenly curves and connects with his chin... and his chin is pretty rounded. I dunno, might be watching too much anime can't tell what's good or not now Q_Q
Let me put my input here, I have been making an effort to request drawing from multiple artist with all different techniques, There abilities do not differ in what you consider "Quaility" But they differ in what is called "Variety" , Saying that one's artist art is garbage is like when people said that Van gogh made art that was garbage, You only say this because you do not comprehend nor understand what art truly is. It took years for people to come to realize and appreciate his own technique and style. Art is an expression of ones own ability to Make,Draw, create, something that is of their own creation, for themselves or others to enjoy. This drawing is of my Character and I very much enjoy it. I'm not saying I'm an artist, I'm not saying I am a critque for art, although, I have the ability to enjoy it. ~BellRinger
You are one cool guy hehe. Buddy me on MS will ya? haha

Well you've improved a lot from your old drawings!
Although, I feel like the hair doesn't look like the character's hair, I think it came out pretty well

@ItamiMerodii, you should really consider drawing your own environments. It's really jarring just slapping a photo behind the character. There's an artist that I've been in contact with, a really amazing one named Terese Nielsen. Her work is gorgeous, very illustrative, with a very art nouveau-flair and a hint of children's books. All the while, she works as a fantasy illustrator for games like Magic: The Gathering. But that's besides the point-- what I want to say here, is she posted a short excerpt from a book called "The Art Spirit," by Robert Henri, and it's something that I found ridiculously helpful when considering environments. And of course, she also uses this advice quite often:

"BACKGROUNDS

From my point of view the simpler a background is the better the figure in front of it will be, and also I will add, the better the figure is the less the observer will need entertainment in the background.

I am quite sure many a gold chair has been hauled in because the artist has failed to get distinction and richness in the mien of the sitter, and he counts on the chair to supply the deficiency. But a (crooked) hat won't make a general."

If you've ever taken the chance to really look at fantasy paintings, even though we're very much engaged in their world, the major detail remains on the characters in question (unless it's an environment piece, but even then the details are usually implied). Even if you struggle with it, and that's something we all do, you should consider trying to illustrate your own environments, and keeping them full while still keeping the character your focus. It's something that will really push you forward. No journey progresses without adversity!

I'm getting really sick of seeing your posts. They are ticking me off and you are really hurting my friends feelings. She does well. If you don't like it too bad. Others seem to appreciate it so I don't really see why you hate it so much as to call it "garbage". It's her style. If you dont like it say it more kindly and just suck it up. Do you have any idea how these kind of comments actually impact the artist? Fine, constructive criticism is okay, but saying things so rude and mean really hurts the artist. She's really proud of this one and to tell her it is garbage isn't very nice. Try saying it more nicely next time. Thanks. >.<

i swear, these types of comments are even worse than the comments that are actually bashing the artist.
you don't have to know how to cook to be able to tell that something tastes bad.

I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate it if someone said that on one of your screens.
Why does all of this guy's garbage get front paged is he Mr. Basil's newphew or something?
Although everyone has their own opinion, you're much better off giving constructive criticism, rather than bashing it just because you don't like it. What do you even get from saying something like that? Probably a block. Is it really worth it?
OT: I think it looks great. I really love how you put the drawing on an actual bench. LOL
