After maybe 6-7 hours of grinding, I managed to nab 12!
This is with HS + Showdown + 2 Spider fams.

If they release a new explorer I give it more chance of being a bowman, seeing it's the only branch with only 2 classes.

At least now u can get spider and spielgman necklace... back in my time it was all in 1x drop

Would Vampire really be all that useful? So long as you're killing, you regain HP. In large-scale mobbing, this should be pretty easy, shouldn't it?

They had disabled that at the revamp of the first three cygnus knights.

Okay, using spider + showdown, I've gotten a dew in 30 minutes or so. HUGE improvement over the previous rate of 0 per 100 hours.
It's just one, but the preliminary results look promising!

Can you still make UAs or nah (Sorry I've been gone since before RED so I don't know how it works)?

I'd love to throw sharks around on my cannoneer, but tbh I don't feel like being a bucc/sair for an extended period of time

And remember you have to collect Nameless Darkness afterwards...

EDIT: I've been gone from MS so I completely forgot... You can job change now, right! You can probably just create a UA Thief/Pirate that changes into a DB/Cannoneer with the UA Skill.
Or can you not do that?

first, change your job to NL using 4th job advancement people. Get a claw and use showdown on the mobs (that will increase drop rate by 15% i believe) If you high enough level put one sp on Showdown drop rate increase then hunt for the dews. After you get enough dews change back to DB and accept and finish the quest. This should work but not 100% sure.

I've been hunting these dews forever and I've only got one :[

idk if this is possible but i would change to NL to get showdown then collect lunar dews with the extra...25% drop(i think with hyper its 25%) then change your job back to db and get the quest. i never done this so i can't confirm this method.
