shad vs phantom which is cheaper to fund to solo bosses?
between shad and phantom, which class is easier to fund to solo bosses such as cvellum, hellux, etc? Also with further funding which class can solo them faster? I know shad has midnight carnival that can go up to 100m but that requires way too much funding. I should approximately be able to achieve 22-24k luk, so which class would be able to solo the bosses the fastest?

To cap all assassinate hits on hell gollux you need around 18k stat, 320%boss, 69% atk and 92% ignore defence. Well around that ballpark
Well ... with 22-24k luk defnitiely phantom is the way to go... all you need to do is to put cross surge as 3rd job skill, final cut or BM toggling skill as 4th job skill and then spam Mihile. if you need more attack distance with mobbing capability, then cannon bazooka as the 4th job is the way to go...
with capping assassinate, hell gollux takes about 2 min total (~40 sec at jewel), chaos vellum takes about 10 mins depending on control

At op: I misread your post. 22~24k phantoms are definitely better.
If you cap without cross surge, platter, frozen orb and Mille probably.
Definitely phantom. The cap on assassinate would slow you down as you would hit way over that.
On a side note, does any phantom know what the best possible hits/sec is? Rapid fire vs arrow blaster + mille vs two arrow blasters (or assuming you cap without cross surge.. blaster + rapid fire?)?
I really do not like DB's... I played a DB before and it was just meh....
At that funding... DB would be best in all honesty. But Phantom would be the stronger choice among the two at 22-24k Luk. Like others have said, you lose DPS once you easily cap with Nate.
Probably phantom then. With that much luk you will be losing a decent amount of damage due to hitting over cap with assassinate.

Sorry should have worded it better, I meant I will probably only have 22-24k luk so that's no where near midnight carnival cap. I meant to say with that amount of luk, would shad or phantom be better for me?

1.8m range to comfortable solo Hellux w/like 220%Boss I think? I usually duo cvell cause I'm lazy/die too much so I don't know the range to solo but I heard you needed like 35m line RF. Shad is definitely easier I think.
I'd say shad, you'd need that much luk to cap on mille as well, most likely.
