my wifi adapter is gone

I finally reset my other laptop completely, however, the wireless adapter doesn't exist on it anymore- I can't see any wifi connections, theres no wifi adapter under device manager, and there's no connection for it in the network and sharing center. What in the world do I do to fix this?

[quote=Burning]You're lucky I go through post histories to learn more about the full picture. Unfortunately, I still don't have enough information about your laptop or its problem to provide more than these links to the driver downloads of what I assume one of which is for whatever laptop it is you have.

If you know which brand your computer is go to the site, search your computer and find the available drivers.

If you reformatted, you're going to need drivers
Sadly of the basic drivers, network adapter drivers are the most annoying to find imo
