Question about Dragon Ball.
I just recently started watching Dragon Ball again. I have a serious question regarding the whole series, though.
If a full Saiyan learns to control the Great Ape form, it is possible for him/her to turn into a SSJ4. If Goku had mastered the Great Ape form as a little boy and reach the SSJ4 level, how would it impact the whole series?

Even if he mastered the great ape form as a little boy, he would still be no where close to even reach SSJ4. Now if he mastered those two forms as a little boy, then well...
He'd be the winner in like every fight with little to no effort (due to him being able to control SSJ4) and the series would be much shorter.
I don't think it will change the series that much. Due to the fact that he can go ape only once a month (full moon).
So he still needs to do regular fighting stuff.
Also in the Z series Piccolo damages the moon so it will never be full ever again.
Yes, and that is achieved by controlling the Great Ape form, then you turn into a Golden Ape (which is the state of mind in which you are in complete control), followed by the final transformation: SSJ4.
I think you need to be a golden ape to turn ssj4
