How are these logos?
So my task for class is to re-create a logo for two podcasts of my choosing, I've made a League of Legends and Kingdom Hearts one though I need opinions on them.

Yeah I'm somewhat new to the pen tool, we barely started using it so I'm not going to be capable of doing something too fancy. I originally had a white background with white components on the KH one but yeah, just switched it. I've tried putting colours on the key but any variation just makes it look too childish (in a bad way), lecturer even preferred it to be black or white. I'll probably get rid of the outlines, just chucked them on for fun.

The hexagons are meant to look old/rusty/dirty, it's not really wood but a rune.
i like the kingdom hear one but the lol one dosent appeal to me

I don't think the letters are necessary for the KH logo.
If you've played the game (or even if you haven't), you can probably recognize the key thing.
I feel that everything being white with a color as an outline is unnecessary.
Logos are usually small. If you scale that down to a smaller size, the outline will hardly be noticeable and it won't look nice (see: http://imgur.com/jUUMbHH)
Why not just make the key that gold-ish color and the heart another color? That being said, I'm not sure about how I feel about [url=http://imgur.com/GI0LPRk]these[/url] colors going together.

As for the LoL one, ditch the texture and I'd find a new font as well. If you wanna keep the hexagon things, that's fine, but I'd try to be a bit more creative with them.
LoL logo is definitely too detailed to be used as a logo IMO.
Details would be fine, if the shape was iconic or something (look at the Chrysler or Cadillac logos for example).
As for the KH logo, I'd have to agree with @icephoenix21; it looks like you just used the pen tool on Illustrator.
In addition to that, I feel that the form isn't special enough to be memorable.
Uh, horrible.
When you look at logos, they are simple yet easily remembered, and these just really aren't doing it for me.
I feel the LoL one is too complicated for logo use.
The kingdom hearts one...are you new to using the pen tool in Illustrator?
