Is new bossing or old bossing better?
And by that I mean like pre potential, star force, bonus pot, etc. I mean I know a lot of people like being able to solo chaos RA or something like that, but personally I feel like there was something special about having to go in raids and relying on others.

I prefer the old system. But at the same time I don't enjoy needing 1 hour to kill a boss.
@ox0Shad0w0xo: With bosses that share a death count, bringing more party members makes the fight harder, not easier. For magnus, arkarium, and hard hilla more people does not necessarily help you
The game engine/nexon guard dictates the teamplay. The reason why oldschool worked wasn't because of no potential and starforce it was because the game didn't lag when boss was summoned/when 6 people started attacking. I sure as hell wouldn't mind doing a zakum run with no equip/level 10 equipment but the reason why it would be awful is the lag that's caused in the room because someone has a terrible internet connection or because you just loaded up the game from a fresh restart and it's attempting to load the boss data.
At least that's why I prefer to go with minimal groups but on bosses that you know you can't do, there's no harm in going in with a full group. If someone's lagging on enter, just don't start adding more stress to their connection until they're loaded in.
I like the new bossing better than the old bossing. It was fun to gather up a bunch of friends to tackle zak, ht, scarga, etc., but there's nothing stopping people from doing that now. A party of unfunded people can still take a while to beat some of the harder bosses. The max is lower than it used to be with expeditions, but you're still not limited to only solos. Requiring a big party doesn't make sense for a game where, there's nothing that really sets the classes apart like you'd expect in an mmo ie defense tanks, avoid tanks, ranged/melee dps, healers, buffers, debuffers. With enough funding every class can be dps tanks, so there's no point in having a variety of players tag along.
The old bossing would be fine [i]if[/i] we had a more balanced class system.
Omg i miss those zakum fights with my guild T_T.
