Nexon logic: We dont know how to fix Kishin so we are just going to release a totem that does the same thing and have people spend hundreds trying to get it! .

Really though from my personal experience (50ish philo books last time) these books are terrible and you mostly get junk. Sure they list all the amazing items you can get from them but dont list all the crappy scrolls, stamps, cheap chairs etc. That you are more likely to get.

@demiarc - I'm not going to disagree that the wordings is awful but I'd like to think it's just a bad translation from TMS. A video from TMS showing the monolith skill in action does show a very Kishin-like mob spawning.

@gakinotsukai It technically says it increased mob count and spawn time. Taken as written, it would imply that the spawn time is increased.
