So I got a free motherboard in a raffle at a computer event from ASUS a few weeks ago. The P8Z77-M motherboard from ASUS, and i was trying to upgrade my CPU and motherboard, and now i just need the CPU Im looking for an Intel core i5 2500K quad core. I've been looking at Fry's, tigerdirect, NCIX, newegg for some deals to get for a bit cheaper. Any other websites I should keep an eye on for deals on the Intel core i5 2500K quad core CPU?

That's not true. There are many people here who know what they're talking about.

Microcenter has it the cheapest but from where I live, but you have to pick it up yourself. Check if you have one around the area to see if you can get it. Unless you're only option is online only.

The ASUS RoG event at Fry's Sunnyvale?

As a California resident, I buy some of my stuff from Amazon because of the free shipping and no tax. Amazon's CA state sales tax exemption however, ends in September.

Fry's and Microcenter occasionally have sales on i5s and i7s. If you aren't subscribed to a local newspaper, then watch the ad postings on their respective web pages.
