Is the chimera arc really THAT creepy? (Judging upon all the things I hear about)

It's not creepy, but the ants looks gross. The arc was pretty long so it was really boring watching the same thing.

I think it was a good arc, it felt dragged on because of watching 1 episode per week. I think if you watched it straight, it's very good. I'm loving the new arc that's airing now
It wasn't creepy to me. It was just an incredibly long arc, that kind of killed the overall pacing of the story. The Chimera ant arc was more than 3x longer than every other arc in the anime so far. Which gave it mixed reception, because overall the story was interesting, and it was the first time the arc was animated (the 1999 series stopped right before the chimera arc), but some parts felt painfully dragged out. It's understandable though considered the manga just came off of hiatus about a month ago, so the anime is almost caught up.

It gets really sad, and dark nearing the end.
It's dark and sorta depressing, nothing super creepy abt it besides what Pitou does.
No I just think it was the worst arc
No, not really. It is darker than the Yorknew City arc though.
