I'm pretty sure it becomes 17 hours when you're level 12. Level 11 should be like 24.

@Snowman: I know for a fact it is 25 hours... I have been doing this for the past 2-3 weeks so I am sure of it.. Wait till the time I did it everyday and still didnt drop. Come back a hour later and it drop. Tried waiting 30min and no drops. So ya.. 25hours...

I think it has to do with the fact that it was meant for people who is not abusing this method for diligence but for the sol purpose of keeping their profession the same level. Imagine coming back from school/work and your mastery dropped just because... 25 hours seems like a fair time limit to craft another item.
From what I am doing now... If you really pull it through all the way... Assuming you use the method the guy mentioned above... you get approximately 2594 Digilence daily...

That will accumulate to a total of 36.x days,,, so round it up just because... 37 days....

And lemme advice you now, it is not possible to make it in that many days.. The level/mastery begins to drop every 25hours... So you do the math...
if you start this method at 8 in the morning, the next day you will have to wait till 9 to do it... so everyday, a extra hour will add up... eventually, it will end up in the next day so it is impossible to make exactly 37 days... you will need approximately 39-ish but that is assuming you do it the sec it resets for fastest possible results.

And don't forget, you need to pay 1mil every time you level up ur Profession, so you'll need 37mil as well... not to mention the mesos you are throwing away to craft them...

Have fun... I am currently at level 50 digilence, alchemy. I don't do what the guy mentions. I am not doing the extra work for the extra 514 a day.... cost too much of time/meso so I just wait til drop and level it again. using my method will take around 48 days
I thought decay was 17 hours o.o

You can try leveling to 11 instead, then let the decay hit you back to lvl 10. Pay 1m again and you get like 2k diligence a day.

Probably a full 24 hour day of trying to level dilligence to 100 I'd say.

Alright child, sit down and let's learn:

DILIGENCE

Alright so you're gonna need a hell lot of ores/plates/jewels!
Evo lab is great for that, as well as the FM.
Best way is to craft 19 rings/sets of arrows everyday then smelt 6 items (or brew, but plants are LAME), then craft another ring.
If you end up with a "so-so" ring, just try and calculate how to get as close to 499 WITHOUT GOING OVER
That way, you can get 519 diligence exp a day instead of 500, since it can go over as long as you aren't at 500/500 exp.

You could craft things all day and earn the diligence from leveling up the craft, but it's just wasteful of the resources.

Level up the craft to 10, and then reset.
If you can get your hands on Diamonds, adamantium and opals, that'd be GREAT.
You'd use the opals from levels 1-3, Adamantium from 4-6, and then diamonds 7-10
Mastery exp = diligence points, therefore using better jewels when you can is ideal.

OR....
You could ask me to spell trace service for you in Scania..

level up smithing to 10 and unlearn then repeat over and over again. Do it by crafting arrows
