Hayato

The bright side of the not high enough glitch

You can cancel many of your attack's delays. This can be fun to play with but ofc the original Hayato playstyle is still the best.

Examples:
Jump->Whirldwind Cut->Falcon Dive lets you Jump->Whirldwind Cut immediately after, you can keep doing Jump->WWC->FD (You could also use dankuusen to cancel the delay of WWC) This is useful if you wanna rush a mob very far.

Jump->Dankuusen->Falcon Dive- -> Jump->Dankuusen. You can keep doing Jump->Dankuusen->Falcon Dive (WWC also works to cancel the delay of Dankuusen)
This is not that useful, it's just kinda fun to use xD.

Shroyuusen->Dankuusen/WWC->Shoryuusen->Dankuusen/WWC... (You can keep doing this, this is really fast)
If you're a 4th job Hayato with max Sanrenzan, I'm pretty sure Sanrenzan is still faster DPM. If you're a 2nd/3rd job or 4th job without max Sanrenzan,
this could possibly be faster DPM. (You can actually press Shoryuusen and Dankuusen/WWC together, and keep pressing those 2 buttons together to keep
using this low-delay Shoryuusen)

EDIT: How/why this delay cancelling glitch works: Before Nexon messed up Hayato's skills, most of them already had a 'delay' unless you used another
skill afterwards. For example, using WWC by itself would leave you with a massive delay unless you used Sweeping Sword/FD/Dankuusen afterwards. Since pretty much all our skills can no longer be used on the ground, the skill doesn't get executed but we still get the delay reduction mechanics. Shoryuusen's delay can be reduced because of the pre-existing combos. i.e Shoryuusen->WWC or Dankuusen. These combos originally reduced the delay of Shoryuusen already, since we can no longer go airborne through this method, it just leaves on the ground and with reduced delay, allowing us to spam Shoryuusen much faster.

Now, let's all hope for Nexon to fix Hayato immediately! Until then, let's enjoy these funny techniques! I applaud all Hayatos who continue to play
regardless of the lack of hyper skills, glitched nexon ranking avatars and these weird glitches to our skills!
How is this a glitch?
It's a glitch because normally, Hayato is able to use all of his skills on the ground. The ones that he cannot
use while grounded(or when very close to the ground) atm, are Dankuusen, Sweeping Sword, Falcon Dive and Whirldwind Cut. I'm saying that since
the glitch leaves us unable to perform the skill, but still registers the delay-reducing effect, that we can take advantage of it, rather
than just sit and do nothing.
What is your range and % str to hit that much damage?
With one willow dodge my range should have been around ~55,000 maximum :O
Shouryuusen spam would be much more beneficial if the monsters were rendered dead instantaneously.
Even if you 1hit the mobs, they go flying into the air and for that duration are invincible -- until they hit the ground.

Spamming shouryuusen will continuously hit those same mobs, so in large groups this happens, unfortunately:

Look at that 100% crit! <3

@kunannnn: oh? last time I touched my hayato was 4 weeks ago and you could FD on the ground. and I just mashed both buttons at the same time and both of them activated at the same time.
You can actually press up to 2 of Hayato's skills immediately after one another, and they will register (if they naturally combine)
You don't have to press them at the same time. (You currently can't do this but when Hayatos are normal, you can)
isn't it like using two skills at the same time?

like I use falcon dive and that straight line rush from 2nd job and they activate at the same time
I'm not sure what you mean.. Are you saying to Jump then Falcon Dive-> Dankuusen? Cos Idk if that works.
However, with the current Hayato glitch, a normal FD->Dankuusen is impossible. Using Falcon Dive on the ground
is already impossible, as you will just get the message 'you are not high enough'.

Wow, Dankuusen actually feels like Assaulter with this glitch. Very fun indeed.
Shoryuusen > Dankuusen combo doesnt work for me... any idea why?

Edit: just started playing, read through forums, and it seems like it's a glitch right now (what your title refers to) ok makes sense
Make sure you press the dankuusen very fast right after shoryuusen, and then shoryuusen very fast after dankuusen. Repeat. It'll be a bit spammy.
Also if you macroed them together, that won't work. You have to press each skill individually. You should test it out on some monsters, if you do it right
you should see a significant decrease in the delay of Shoryuusen. It tends to be easier to perform on monsters than on nothing, gl and hf trying these out!

Another way to do it, is to time when you press your Shoryuusen/Dankuusen. Use Shoryuusen, when you see that your katana is full drawn out, use Dankuusen
or WWC and then immediately press Shoryuusen after that. You should be able to physically see Hayato withdraw his katana much faster this way.

Pressing both of them together very fast also works <easiest way

All normal combos will not work because of this glitch, unless you are quite high in the air.
